Frequently asked questions
Straight answers about where leads come from, how they are verified, and what unlocking gets you.
What does SproutIQ sell?
SproutIQ sells verified sales leads created from real public signals that survive evidence, commercial-value, and timing review. Every lead separates what the public record says from what SproutIQ infers from it.
Where do the signals come from?
Public sources only: government databases, regulatory and enforcement records, permits, inspection reports, public filings, and publicly available business information. We do not use private, scraped-behind-login, or purchased personal data to build leads.
Why is so much of the preview masked?
The identity is the product. A public preview shows the shape of the opportunity — sector, region, timing, evidence categories, and our confidence — while masking the company name, exact identifiers, dates, values, and source links. That keeps the preview honest without giving the work away. Unlocking reveals the full dossier.
How is a lead verified before it goes live?
A lead cannot be published until the triggering source is reviewed, the situation is deduplicated, the commercial need is classified, and the teaser is safe to show publicly. Contact or outreach details may be added where appropriate, but they are not the product by themselves.
Does SproutIQ use AI?
SproutIQ uses software systems, digital research support, and human review. AI can assist with research, enrichment, interpretation, and matching, but the underlying event in a Sprout must come from traceable source data. We separate source-backed facts from SproutIQ inferences.
Are Sarah and Ben people?
Sarah and Ben are members of SproutIQ’s digital team. They help with opportunity research, vendor context, and parts of our communications. Human support is available when judgment, service, or escalation is needed.
What is a Qualified Lead?
A Qualified Lead is a current opportunity that also matches a particular vendor strongly across solution fit, territory, industry, and available facility-fit evidence. Qualified means “especially relevant to you,” not merely “more fields included.”
What do the scores mean?
The score is our review confidence in the opportunity itself — how strong and current the evidence looks after human review. It is our judgment call on the evidence, clearly separated from the facts, and it is not a guarantee that a deal exists.
What do I get at each tier?
First Lead is one free complete dossier for a verified vendor. Marketplace Lead ($99) unlocks a verified opportunity that remains useful and is available in the shared marketplace. Qualified Lead is temporarily discounted to $149 for a current opportunity specifically matched to your company. Exclusive Lead ($749) adds competitive distribution protection for the relevant commercial branch.
What does exclusivity actually cover?
Exclusivity protects the relevant commercial opportunity for your solution category during the remaining active protection window. It does not make the entire facility exclusive; one facility can create several independently sellable needs.
Do you sell personal contact information?
SproutIQ primarily sells commercial opportunity intelligence about organizations and facilities. Where appropriate, we may identify likely buying roles or facilitate outreach, but personal contact data is not the core product.
What if an unlocked lead turns out to be wrong?
Tell us. If the identifying facts in an unlocked dossier are materially wrong — wrong company, dead source, misread record — contact us at support@sproutiq.io and we will make it right. Our inferences are judgment calls and clearly labeled as such, but the facts underneath them are supposed to be checkable, and we stand behind that.
How fresh are leads?
Each lead shows its signal age, and monitoring runs continuously. Opportunities also expire: when a signal goes stale or the window closes, the lead comes off the board instead of lingering as inventory.
Why the name SproutIQ?
Commercial opportunities often begin as small signals — a new violation, a changing permit, an emerging compliance problem. SproutIQ watches for those signals while they're still developing. When a meaningful new opportunity appears, something just sprouted.
Who is behind SproutIQ?
SproutIQ is built and operated by Silver Lion Holdings. The review pipeline, verification system, and vendor operations run on our own internal platform — the same one that records every check a lead passed.
